Karnak Temple

Description

Karnak Temple :

is one of the largest and most important religious complexes in ancient Egypt, located in Luxor on the east bank of the Nile. It was primarily dedicated to the Theban Triad of gods: Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. The construction of the temple began during the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep II (around the 15th century BC) and continued over several dynasties, with many pharaohs adding to and expanding the site.
